Andy Grammer stopped by On Air With Ryan Seacrest on Friday, October 4, and helped Ryan Seacrest decide — or almost decide — on a tattoo. The “Naive” singer, who is making his way across America on his Don’t Give Up On Me tour, admitted that he too wants to get some ink, but he’s not quite there yet.
It all came about after Grammer shared his excitement when a fan comes to a meet and greet with his lyrics tattooed on their arm or back.
“I’m trying to figure out where to get my first tattoo,” Ryan added.
“It’s so hard,” Grammer shared. “I want to get one too but I’m like scared … you know what it is? There’s like a 5% thing that I feel like I’d still be doing it to be cool and I don’t want to do that.”
So if he were to get a tattoo what would Grammer get?
“I would get a ladder because there’s this quote that I love that says ‘music is the ladder to the soul.’”
Ryan’s idea for a tattoo is, um, a little less meaningful 😂
“I’d get a Smurf or something,” Ry joked. “It was one of my favorite shows growing up …”
