D4vd is reportedly being looked at as a suspect as the investigation into Celeste Rivas' death continues.

According to a report TMZ published on Tuesday, November 18, the Los Angeles Police Department is considering Rivas' death as a homicide, even though the medical examiner has yet to determine an exact cause of death. Although there isn't any confirmation on paper, sources told the outlet that "Investigators are looking at D4vd as a suspect." The latest update comes two months after Rivas' human remains were found in a black bag inside the front trunk of a Tesla registered to D4vd.

Rivas had just turned 15 when pieces of her body were found in the vehicle at an impound lot in Hollywood, Calif. The car was towed there from a neighborhood in the Hollywood Hills area where it had been abandoned for several weeks. It was found near a home d4vd once lived at, which was rented out by his manager Joshua Marshall. Since the body was discovered, police and Internet sleuths revealed several connections between the singer and Rivas, including matching tattoos and videos of them together before her death.

The latest update in the investigation stems from an alleged trip d4vd took earlier this year. Police claim he drove out to the middle of nowhere in Santa Barbara County during the spring and stayed there for several hours. D4vd has yet to publicly comment on the case, but he did get legal representation. He also canceled his world tour and pulled insensitive merch from his website. While D4vd has remained mum on the subject, Marshall did speak out and denied allegations of his involvement with Rivas' death.

Police are not close to making any arrests
