Taylor Swiftโs โThe Manโ is getting the music video treatment!
The singer-songwriter announced the video for her newest single will be arriving Thursday (February 27), and teased the big reveal with a mysterious graphic with the cryptic caption, โThere are 19 hands in the hallwayโฆ but only 2 days until The Man Music Video.โ
In addition, Swift took to Twitter early this morning with the very first preview of the video, helmed by the pop star herself, which shows a businessman looking out on the city. Whatโs more, Swift revealed sheโll be โchatting/answering your questions/mansplaining the video on YouTube starting an hour before at 6 A.M. EST.โ
Itโs anyoneโs guess what the โ19 handsโ could represent and how much it will influence the direction of the visual for her empowering feminist anthem, yet Swifties are excited about its arrival all the same. โAll these hands just slapped me in the face and told me iโm stupid,โ one user quipped, as another emphatically added, โTHANK GOD THERE IS AN OFFICIAL VIDEO.โ
As Swifties know, โThe Manโ is the fourth official single from her seventh studio album, Lover. The music video announcement comes just weeks after the Cats actress unveiled the video for her live acoustic performance of the song at her โCity of Loverโ concert in Paris.
Taylor Swift is nominated at this year'sย iHeartRadio Music Awardsย in several categories, including Best Female Artist, Best Fan Army and Best Lyrics!
