Isabel Marie Sanchez leaves Q Productions after five years

On of the hottest young stars in Tejano music is now a free agent asIsabel Marie Sanchezhas decided to leaveQ Productionsafter five years of hit songs and four successful albums.

The 18-year-old singing sensation announced the news during an interview withTejano Nationradio affiliate in the Rio Grande Valley on Thursday.

“I, obviously, am so grateful the Quintanilla family have done for my family,” Isabel Marie told morning host. “We think it’s time to spread our wings. Thank God we have a lot of opportunities in the music industry and we’re weighing out our options right now. We’ll see and go on the path that God takes us. We’re really excited and we have a lot of new things coming up, we’re recording some songs.”

The award-winning singing sensation has been entertaining Tejano fans since the release of her debut album, New Girl In Town, released in March 2016 when she was just 13 years old.

She has been a part of Q Productions for the past five years with the guidance of Abraham Quintanilla and Suzette Quintanilla. Isabel Marie signed with the Quintanillas at the age of 12 and Mr. Qpraised her talentin an interview with Tejano Nation in 2018.

“Isabel is an artist that record companies consider as having the whole package: talent, youth, personality, stage presence, and image,” he said. “For 23 Years I have been looking and listening for a female vocalist in our Tejano market that I felt had the vocal qualities comparable to my daughter Selena. Not to replace Selena, for she will never be replaced. I think that Isabel Marie is an extraordinarily talented young woman.”

Isabel Marie won Best New Female Artist at the Tejano Music Awards in 2017 after the success of her debut album. She added Top Female Artist at the My Tejano Awards in 2019. She is a star that will only grow brighter with each new album released.

As for what’s next for Isabel Marie she says, “We’re working on new music and we’re excited to release it, so we’re just gonna keep truckin’. I just want to thank everyone for the support, honestly, and it’s been a wild ride but fun and I can’t wait to continue it.”
