Dua Lipa is preparing to launch a new chapter in music and the pop star is readying her look to accompany the new era.
On Tuesday (October 1), the British star, 24, took to Instagram to share a few mirror selfies, showcasing her brand-new bi-color locks. "A new era! Thank you for your patience. See you soon," she captioned the shot with the #DL2 hashtag. Head over to her feed and you'll notice that the post is in the middle of two black boxes for posts, which might mean that this will be the last we see of the star until her comeback is ready to begin. Prior to the reveal, Lipa had been sporting some notable bangs and dark hair while out and about during Paris Fashion Week. "My hair is full of secrets," the singer captioned a shot of her at the launch of YSL's latest fragrance, "Libre."
Earlier this year, Lipa revealed that she was "trying to cover all grounds" on the follow-up to her self-titled debut LP. "That carries on in the second album," she told the Rolling Stone magazine of the LP, which might feature an Outkast influence. "It's me trying to cover all the ground, all of my feelings. Some days are happy and all you want to do is write a song about that. And other days…you know. Things don’t go how you want them do – but it’s such great inspiration for music."
While the British chart-topper called the balance a "silver lining" to her artistic process, that's not to say that she has it all figured out. "I guess I’m quite good at hitting all the low notes – I’m still figuring out how to reach the higher ones," she continued.
