So, Blue Ivy Just Earned Her First Hot 100 Entry At The Age Of 7

Blue Ivy wasn't kidding when she said she's "never seen a ceiling in [her] whole life."

Just in case you needed another reason to reevaluate your life choices — at just 7-years-old, Beyoncé and Jay-Z's first-born daughter has earned a Billboard Hot 100 hit record! The not even pre-teen's single "Brown Skin Girls," which also features her mom Bey, Saint Jhn and Wizkid, recently debuted on the Hot 100 chart, marking her first-ever entry.

Being that "Brown Skin Girls" is all about the empowerment of black women, it's fitting (and heartwarming) that Bey called upon her daughter to be featured on the uplifting single. As fans know, "Brown Skin Girls" appears on the legendary entertainer's Lion-King-inspired album, The Lion King: The Gift. The project, which, which Bey called "a love letter to Africa," additionally features some of the biggest and most respected names in music including Kendrick Lamar, Childish Gambino, 070 Shake, Tierra Whack, Pharrell, and more.

Blue's appearance on the album isn't the first time she's hopped on/owned one of her parents' records. In 2012, the rising superstar became the youngest person to appear on a Billboard chart with her first-ever feature on Jay-Z's "Glory." She also lent her vocals to Beyoncé's 2016 track "Daddy Lessons" and the "Mi Gente" remix the following year. Then in 2017, she graced the world with her iconic "never seen a ceiling in my whole life" bar on "Blue's Freestyle," which was featured on Jay's 2017 album, 4:44. And earlier this year, Blue sang her little heart out to "Lift Every Voice and Sing" on Bey's Homecoming album.

Talk about a boss in the making!
