R. Kelly Fan Interrupts Press Conference To Proclaim His Innocence

R. Kelly's back behind bars again in Cook County Jail for failing to pay over $160,000 in back child support, but that doesn't mean that he still doesn't have his share of supporters.

On Wednesday (March 6), the disgraced R&B singer's publicist, Darryll Johnson, spoke at a press conference regarding the latest controversy and one fan wasn't having it. While Johnson was answering questions from the media, the unidentified fan walked right behind the publicist and shared his two cents, saying, "I don't mean to interrupt your interview, but free R. Kelly, man." When the publicist tried to offer a rebuttal, the fan said, "I can walk this way. What the f**k you talkin' bout, fam." He also reportedly began shouting at Johnson and demanding that the singer get some new representation.

As we previously reported, Kelly was whisked away to Cook County Jail directly after appearing in a Chicago courtroom to dispute his child support payments. He will reportedly remain in jail until he pays the debt in full. Kelly's return behind bars comes almost two weeks after he surrendered himself to authorities after being charged with 1010 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse. While he was given bail, he remained in custody for three days until his bond was posted by a 47-year-old woman by the name of Valencia Love, who identified herself as a "friend" of Kelly's in court documents.

Kelly's arrest also comes after his explosive interview with Gayle King, where the star argued his innocence, despite the multiple claims of sexual abuse against him. "Forget the blogs, forget how you feel about me. Hate me if you want to, love me if you want. But just use your common sense," he told the host. "How stupid would it be for me, with my crazy past and what I've been through – oh right now I just think I need to be a monster and hold girls against their will, chain them up in my basement, and don’t let them eat, don’t let them out, unless they need some shoes down the street from their uncle!"
