A$AP Rocky is previewing unreleased music from his upcoming album.
On Friday, June 6, the New York native and Cash App debuted their new campaign that will fuel hype for his long-awaited album, Don't Be Dumb. The hilarious ad features a phone number that appears at the end, which takes fans to an exclusive snippet of an unreleased song from Rocky's next project. It's the first new clip fans have heard from Rocky's album since he delayed its release last year.
"Steppin on s**t until I smash it/Tryna tell these dummies 'Don't be dumb', they went out crashin,'" Rocky raps in the snippet.
In addition, A$AP Rocky is also helping pay off $1 million in Cash App Afterpay balances for unsuspecting fans in the U.S. Select customers were randomly chosen to have up to $200 of their Afterpay bill paid off. There was no catch behind the promotion. As Cash App puts it, the payment is "just a surprise gift."
“We wanted to create a moment that feels personal, unexpected, and safe for our Cash App Afterpay customers,” Catherine Ferdon, CMO for Cash App said. “It’s not just about financial relief — it’s about creating an experience that connects with people where they are. This campaign marks a fresh chapter in how Cash App shows up for its community — blending technology, culture, music, and meaningful financial surprises in a way that longtime users might find familiar, but with a new twist.”
Rocky's partnership with Cash App also allows fans to cop an exclusive piece from his recent AWGE collection. Cash App customers have the opportunity to buy rare items from the collection like the AWGE Parka, which Rocky wore at the 2025 Met Gala. The collection is available now on AWGE's website.
A$AP Rocky's Don't Be Dumb album does not have a release date yet.
