Lady Gaga didn't waste any time asking the important questions on her first date with now-fiancé Michael Polansky.

In an interview with Michael Strahan for Good Morning America published Friday (March 7), Gaga revealed that when she and Polansky finally had their first date after three weeks of speaking on the phone every day, she immediately asked him about having kids and if he wanted to get married because "I wanted marriage and kids more than anything."

"Michael flew to Vegas when I was doing my show to take me on our first date and before we even sat down, I said, 'Do you want marriage and kids?' And he goes, 'Yeah, I do.' And I said, 'Okay, great, do you want some champagne?' And he said, 'Sure,'" she recalled, adding, "I think I wanted him to know that I was a family girl."

In a recent interview with Access Hollywood, Gaga even opened up about how much she wants to become a parent, adding that she hopes it will happen sometime in the next decade, People reports.

"I really want to be a mom," she said. "The greatest vision I have is that."

The "Born This Way" singer is entirely smitten with her fiancé, admitting to Strahan that she knew Polansky was "the one" because "he just loves the whole me."

"I learn a lot from him. He's so supportive. He's got an incredible kind heart. He's my best friend," she said. "Being in a partnership with your best friend I feel like is a huge blessing. I couldn't imagine going through life with anyone but him, honestly."

Polasnky even assisted Gaga on her new album MAYHEM, which dropped Friday, co-writing a song that was inspired by Polasnky's sweet marriage proposal.

MAYHEM is available to stream at iHeartRadio.com.
