What is Ariana Grande teasing?
This year has been a huge year for Grande as she co-starred in Wicked, alongside Cynthia Erivo, and also dropped her most recent album, Eternal Sunshine. But on Instagram, as she was paying tribute to 2024 to wrap up the year, she shared a cryptic video, hair up in a ponytail and leaning her head to the right in front of a camera, and captioned it "To be continued" with a heart emoji.
The pose is very similar to her Eternal Sunshine album cover, and in the post, tagged Katia Temkin, a motion graphics artist and photographer, who shot her Eternal Sunshine cover.
Responding to the video reposted on X by Pop Crave, fans began speculating what this exactly means. Some believe that it could be a deluxe version of Eternal Sunshine, with one fan writing "ETERNAL SUNSHINE DELUXE PLEASEEEEEE," while another said, "She is shooting a new music video," as one fan speculated that the "Eternal Sunshine era" is "on pause."
The second part of Wicked, Wicked: For Good, is set to come out in November 2025, and some fans questioned whether or not she was referring to the film.
Ari captioned her Instagram post, "A year full of art and heart. Thank you eternally for your love and support, words truly don’t suffice. I love you always and am wishing you all a very happy new year!"
On her Instagram stories, she also thanked her fans, writing, "Thank you to my sweet, incredible angels for your love and support year round ... you have made me feel so seen and held. I love growing with you and seeing where art, life and inspiration takes us together. Here's to another year with you ... thank you for everything. I'll never ever take you, our bond, or our memories for granted."
