T.I. and Tameka "Tiny" Harris gave a group of senior citizens in their hometown a once-in-a-lifetime experience ahead of Thanksgiving.

The revered artists' non-profit organization Harris Community Works hosted a massive turkey giveaway on Tuesday, November 26. During their event, Tip and Tiny gave away thousands of turkeys and provided full meals to senior citizens at Jackson Memorial Baptist Church in their hometown of Atlanta. The celebrity couple also invited country singer Blanco Brown to perform his song "The Git Up" with help from the Atlanta Falcon cheerleaders. Special guests Young Dro and Mayor Andre Dickens also showed up to support.

“My family and I are deeply honored to give back this Holiday Season by providing complete Thanksgiving meals to over 1,200 seniors and serving 300 meals for them today—the generation that paved the way for us all," T.I. told TMZ. "This is just a small gesture of our appreciation for their legacy and sacrifice.”

The event is just the latest charitable contribution the Harris family has made to their community. Tip and Tiny Harris launched Harris Community Works in 2019. Since then, the trap music pioneer and the Xscape singer have been recognized for their efforts to give back to families and fans. In 2022, T.I. received the Georgia Outstanding Citizen Award from State Representative Debra Bazemore and Georgia’s Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger during a ceremony at the Georgia State Capitol. He also received the Volunteers Achievement Lifetime Award from the Global International Alliance on behalf of President Joe Biden.
