Halle Bailey has returned to social media to praise DDG after their brief spat over their infant son's appearance on Kai Cenat's livestream.
The singer-actress reactivated her X account on Thursday, November 7, and essentially apologized for airing out Halo's dad online. Bailey initially claimed she was wasn't informed before DDG brought their son with him to the AMP founder's stream earlier this week. She said she was "extremely upset" when she found out about their appearance on the stream while she was out of town.
"Yesterday maybe i did overreact and shouldn’t have brought it here," she wrote. "i know that halo is always safe with his dad."
"i just don’t like finding out with the rest of the world what my baby is doing," she continued. "thank u kai for the gifts for halo."
During his livestream, Cenat hooked little Halo up with an assortment of gifts and promised more is on the way. DDG showed his appreciation to the popular streamer by thanking him in a post on X.
"W gifts 🖤 me & halo appreciate it bro @KaiCenat," he wrote.
Halle Bailey and DDG brought Halo into the world at the end of 2023. The former couple kept the pregnancy and their child's birth a secret until they formally announced his arrival in January 2024. Halle and DDG hit up numerous red carpets together throughout the course of their relationship, but things began to change earlier this year. They remained together for several months until DDG announced their split at the top of October.
