Ariana Grande's Reason For Not Expanding Her European Tour Is The Real Deal

You have to give it up to Ariana Grande for prioritizing her health even if it comes at the expense of not taking her "Sweetener World Tour" to extensive lengths of the world. On Thursday (June 21), the 25-year-old pop titan announced new Stateside tour dates, while simultaneously explaining to one fan why she’s not taking the European trek further than it can go.

"I just can't understand why she's literally doing 4-5 shows in a STATE instead of going to other countries. It really makes no sense to me," one disgruntled fan tweeted about her 19 new American dates. Soon after, Grande took the opportunity to explain just why she isn’t being too expansive with the additional leg and her reasoning deserves the utmost respect. "The truth is: european leg is going to be a big step," she replied. "i’m really excited about it and grateful to do it! but since you’re asking, this is simply the best i’m capable of at this time and keeping me closer to home for a majority of the dates is what’s best for my health rn. love u!"

When one user applauded her efforts to keep the show on the road, the singer shared her appreciation for understanding, admitting that she is doing the best that she can at the moment and proud of her progress. As of now, the chart-topper has 30 shows scheduled for her time overseas, including stops in London, Paris, Berlin, Dublin, Amsterdam, as well as a return to Manchester, the city that saw 22 people die during an attack at her show. Since the attack, Grande has put her best foot forward to prioritize her health, but that doesn’t change the fact that recent brain scans have shown "terrifying" levels of PTSD.
