BTS Takes Over 'Saturday Night Live'

BTS not only made history on the latest episode of Saturday Night Live, but the boy band's two performances were highlights of the night!

The seven-member group brought the house down on Saturday's (April 13) Emma Stone-hosted episode of SNL as they performed two of their new hits "Boy With Luv," and "MIC Drop."

RM, Jin, V, Jungkook, Jimin, Suga and J-Hope's performance marked the first time the show has ever had a K-pop musical guest in its 44 seasons. The group made sure to make it a night to remember as they showed off their signature choreography, A-1 style — they wore street-style inspired outfits for their first look, and ended the night in coordinated black suits — and unmatched performance skills.

While the night was also about Emma Stone, who was hosting the show for the fourth time, BTS shined just as bright. During the actress' opening monologue, viewers got just a taste of BTS' fans excitement (many of their loyal followers camped outside the NBC studio in NYC for days ahead of their SNL appearance) as the crowd erupted with screams just at the mention of BTS's name. "Before we get started, I just wanted to test the sound levels... BTS is here," Emma announced, which drew a thunder of roars from the audience.

As fans know, BTS' highly-anticipated SNL appearance came after one day after they dropped their latest album, Map of the Soul: Persona, which features seven new songs, including "Boy With Luv" with Halsey.
